Asian markets are displaying weakness as traders prepare for another session. The Nikkei 225 led the decline, falling over 1.20%, while the Hang Seng also posted significant losses.

The Dow Jones led the decline in US markets, with a loss of over 270 points. Commodities showed mixed performance, with precious metals under pressure and crude oil retreating.

The GIFT Nifty futures are trading at 24,294.50, down marginally by 3.00 points from the previous close. Foreign investors continued their selling spree with net outflows of ₹2,535.10 crores.
