August 13 Markets Close with Choppy Results

The markets closed for Thursday, August 13th, and there were notable fluctuations in various asset classes. On the Chicago Board of Trade, Corn Futures saw a significant drop, with September's price down 8 cents to $4.48 per bushel, while December's price also decreased by 8 cents to $4.72.

Soybean Futures experienced an increase, however, with September's price rising by 2 cents to $11.67 per bushel, but November's price dropped a quarter cent to $11.83.

Wheat Futures saw mixed results, as well: September's price increased by half a cent to $6.53 per bushel, while December's price decreased by 1 cent to $6.68.
