Azerbaijan Oil Prices Plummet Amid Global Market Decline

The Azerbaijan oil market saw a decline in prices for various crude oil grades during the week of September 21-25. According to Trend's calculations, Azeri Light (CIF) averaged $121.08 per barrel, down by $3.1 or 2.5% from the previous week. The highest price reached was $125.94 per barrel, while the lowest was $116.83.

The average price of Azeri Light on a FOB basis at the Turkish port of Ceyhan was $114.38 per barrel, which is $4.14 or 3.5% lower than the previous week's figure. The maximum price was $119.26 per barrel, and the minimum was $110.09.

Urals crude oil prices also declined, averaging $83.02 per barrel, down by $6.8 or 7.6% from the previous week. The highest price reached was $88.36, while the lowest was $78.59.
