Azerbaijan's Crude Oil Exports Reach $8 Billion in Seven Months

Azerbaijan's crude oil exports have been a significant contributor to its economy in recent months. According to data from the State Customs Committee, the country exported 12.72 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous minerals between January and July this year.

The value of these exports was $8.03 billion, a 4.86% increase compared to the same period last year. However, the volume of crude oil exports decreased by 12.08% during the same timeframe.

Crude oil and petroleum products accounted for approximately 41.54% of Azerbaijan's total exports during this seven-month period. The country's foreign trade turnover reached $29.21 billion in January-July, with exports totaling $19.34 billion and imports amounting to $9.88 billion.
