BAGE Sees 2026/27 Argentine Soybean Crop at Record Levels

The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BAGE) has released its forecast for Argentina's soybean crop in the 2026/27 season, predicting a significant increase to 53.6 million tons.

This would be a notable 3.5 million tons above the previous season's production of 50.1 million tons.

The expansion is attributed to strong demand from the crushing industry and concerns over corn production due to leafhopper infestations.

BAGE's estimate surpasses other organizations' forecasts, with the USDA predicting 50 million tons and the Rosario Grain Exchange projecting only 47.8 million tons.
