BAJUS Cuts Gold Prices Again Amid Pure Gold Drop

The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has reduced gold prices for the local market by Tk 4,474 per bhori (11.664 grams), citing a drop in pure gold prices.

The latest reduction, which came into effect at 10:00am on Monday, brings the price of 22-carat gold jewellery to Tk 236,254 per bhori, including VAT.

This is the second cut in gold prices this month, with the previous reduction being Tk 7,115 per bhori on August 29.
