BAJUS Slashes Gold Prices by BDT 2,158 per Bhori to BDT 2,31,880
The Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) has reduced gold prices for the second time in a short period, lowering the cost of 22-carat gold by BDT 2,158 per bhori to reach BDT 2,31,880. This new pricing structure took effect starting at 10 am on Friday, according to an official notification released by the organization.
The association cited a downward trend in pure gold values within the domestic bullion market as the reason for this price modification. The updated rates will stay in force until subsequent notice is issued, and crafting fees will continue to fluctuate based on the specific artistry and design of each piece.
