Baker Hughes Lands Dual Contracts with Venture Global LNG
Baker Hughes has secured two significant contracts from Venture Global LNG to support the expansion of their Louisiana infrastructure. The first contract covers 13 gas compression systems for the Cloud Connector Pipeline, which transports feed gas to Venture Global's Plaquemines LNG facility. Each of these systems is driven by Frame 5/2E gas turbines and will play a crucial role in reliably moving feed gas through the pipeline.
The second contract involves the delivery of four liquefaction blocks, comprising eight individual modules, which will increase production capacity at the Plaquemines LNG facility. This expansion is part of Venture Global's efforts to meet growing global demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG).
According to Baker Hughes Chairman and CEO Lorenzo Simonelli, 'US natural gas is helping to deliver the energy continuity required for industries, communities, and economies to thrive, grow, and innovate.'
