Baltic Ports Targeted as Ukraine Seeks to Block Russian Grain Exports

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has urged Baltic ports not to handle Russian grain exports, citing efforts by Russia to use the route amid logistics problems in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.

Sybiha made the statement during a joint press conference with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, where he also called for broader restrictions on Russian products in the European market.

According to Sybiha, Russia is attempting to make greater use of the Baltic route to ship grain to foreign markets, and Ukraine's Foreign Ministry believes this should be restricted.
