Bangladesh Approves $49 Million LNG Procurement Deal

The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) has approved the procurement of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes for delivery in September.

The Finance Minister, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, chaired a meeting at the Secretariat where the approval was given.

Posco International Corporation, South Korea's largest trading company, will supply one LNG cargo on September 13-14 at $24.625 per million British thermal units (MMBtu).

TotalEnergies Gas & Power Ltd, UK, will provide another cargo on 23-24 September at $24.25 per MMBtu.
