Bangladesh Gas Supply Hits Record High

The government of Bangladesh has taken steps to increase gas supply to the national grid. According to Petrobangla, the country's oil and gas corporation, the daily gas supply has increased to 2,606 million cubic feet (mmcfd) per day.

This is a positive development for the country, which had been experiencing difficulties in meeting its energy needs. The government has been working to keep the country's energy supply normal, and it appears that their efforts are paying off.

Of the total gas supplied to the national grid, 1,615 mmcfd comes from domestic sources while 991 mmcfd comes from floating regasification units installed in the sea. Petrobangla Director (Operation and Mines, Additional Charge) Engineer Md. Shoyeb said that gas supply is being managed by coordinating domestic production with imported LNG to increase the supply to the national grid.
