Bangladesh Gold Prices Plummet Again Amid Market Shifts
The price of gold in Bangladesh has been reduced again, with 22-carat gold now selling for BDT 2,35,146 per bhori. This decrease comes after a previous increase on September 3, when the price was raised by BDT 5,482 to BDT 2,37,362 per bhori.
The Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) announced the revised rates, citing a decline in the domestic market price of refined Tejabi gold. The new prices took effect at 10 am on Sunday.
In addition to the decrease in 22-carat gold prices, the cost of 21-carat and 18-carat gold has also been reduced. A single bhori of 21-carat gold now costs BDT 2,24,590, while 18-carat gold is priced at BDT 1,92,864.
