Bangladesh Gold Prices Soar as BAJUS Announces New Rates
The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced an increase in gold prices in the local bullion market through a notice on September 19, 2026. The new prices took effect starting Saturday, September 26.
The price of 22-carat gold per bhori has been increased by 1,691 taka, from BDT 2,32,930 to BDT 2,34,621. Similarly, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori has been increased by 1,574 taka, from BDT 2,22,491 to BDT 2,24,065.
The price of 18-carat gold per bhori has been increased by 1,341 taka, from BDT 1,91,056 to BDT 1,92,397. Traditional (Sonaton) gold per bhori has been increased by 1,108 taka, from the previous price of BDT 1,56,064 to the new price of BDT 1,57,172.
