Bangladesh Gold Prices Surge Amid BAJUS Notice
On September 3, 2026, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced an increase in gold prices through a notice. According to the new pricing, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori has increased by 5,482 taka from its previous price of 2,31,880 taka to the new price of 2,37,362 taka. Similarly, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori has increased by 5,249 taka from its previous price of 2,21,441 taka to the new price of 2,26,690 taka.
The price of 18-carat gold per bhori has been increased by 4,491 taka from its previous price of 1,90,123 taka to the new price of 1,94,614 taka. Traditional (Sonaton) gold per bhori has been increased by 3,674 taka from its previous price of 1,55,306 taka to the new price of 1,58,980 taka.
