NYMEX Reports September 4 Precious Metals Prices
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has reported precious metals prices for September 4. According to the data, gold futures have dropped by 1.38% to $4429.80 per troy ounce, which is equivalent to 31.1 grams. Silver futures are also down, losing 0.74% to $66.05 per troy ounce.
In contrast, platinum futures have seen a slight increase of 0.90% to reach $1826.00 per troy ounce. The NYMEX is a US-based futures market that was founded in 1882 and operates through two divisions: the NYMEX Division, which handles trades of oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, and the COMEX Division, responsible for gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
