Bangladesh Gold Prices Surge as BAJUS Announces New Rates
The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced an increase in gold prices in the local bullion market. The new prices take effect starting September 30, 2026.
According to the announcement, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori has been increased by 2,216 taka, from the previous price of 2,28,556 taka to the new price of 2,30,772 taka. The price of 21-carat gold per bhori has been increased by 2,099 taka, from the previous price of 2,18,292 taka to the new price of 2,20,391 taka.
The price of 18-carat gold per bhori has been increased by 1,808 taka, from the previous price of 1,87,440 taka to the new price of 1,89,248 taka. Traditional (Sonaton) gold per bhori has been increased by 1,458 taka, from the previous price of 1,53,148 taka to the new price of 1,54,606 taka.
