Basrah Crude Prices Rise Amid Global Oil Benchmark Declines

Basrah crude prices rose slightly on Thursday, defying a decline in major global oil benchmarks.

The Basrah Heavy crude price climbed to $54.04 per barrel, gaining 0.63%, while the Basrah Medium crude price advanced to $56.34 per barrel, adding 0.61%.

In contrast, Brent futures dropped by 96 cents or 1.06% to $89.78 a barrel, and US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell by 64 cents or 0.76% to $83.82 a barrel.
