Basrah Crude Prices Slide with Global Oil Benchmark Declines

Global oil benchmarks declined on Thursday, impacting Basrah crude prices in Iraq. The Basrah Heavy crude fell to $74.32 per barrel, a decrease of 4.62%, while the Basrah Medium crude dropped to $77.62 per barrel, down 4.43%. This decline is consistent with the broader market trend.

The Brent crude price edged lower to $87.43 per barrel, losing 41 cents or 0.5% in value. The US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also declined, falling by 37 cents or 0.5%, to $81.86 per barrel.
