Bermuda-Flagged Tanker Ship Struck by Missile in Strait of Hormuz

A Bermuda-flagged tanker ship carrying natural gas out of the Middle Eastern Strait of Hormuz has been struck by a missile.

The GasLog Shanghai LNG, which was en route from Qatar, reported being hit on Friday at around 11:30 pm local time, about 12.7 miles northeast of Oman's coast.

No injuries or casualties have been reported, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations, but the ship suffered damage to its engine room and is currently inoperable.
