Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Vysotskyi said that there are no positive signs for a ceasefire agreement covering grain exports through the Black Sea in the coming months. The strikes in the region have significantly limited Ukraine's ability to export products vital to global supplies.

Bloomberg reports that countries facilitating negotiations had informed Ukraine that Russia has so far rejected all proposals from Kyiv's partners. Vysotskyi stated, 'all possible options have been tried, but no results' have yet been achieved.

As a result of the intensified strikes between Russia and Ukraine, global grain prices have increased. The two countries account for more than a quarter of global wheat supplies. The possibility of negotiations on allowing grain exports as part of a limited ceasefire or a moratorium on strikes had helped lower prices earlier this month.
