The conflict in the Black Sea is disrupting global grain shipments, with Russia and Ukraine accusing each other of targeting civilian ships and port infrastructure.

Russia is the world's largest wheat exporter, while Ukraine is known as Europe's breadbasket. The attacks are putting pressure on maritime transport in the region during the harvest season.

The UN has warned that global agricultural markets are beginning to feel the effects of the attacks, calling for efforts to prevent tensions from escalating.

A total of 67 port facilities were attacked last month, with some 35 attacks carried out against ships in ports and 22 against ships at sea.
