Black Sea Disruptions Push UK Feed Wheat Futures Higher

UK feed wheat futures for November 2026 rose by £3.00 per tonne (1.5%) last week, closing at £199.50 per tonne on Friday.

This price increase brought the Nov-26 contract close to its current resistance line of £198 per tonne and the 20-day rolling average price, suggesting a potential change in the price trend soon.

European wheat prices also rose due to further attacks on shipping and ports in the Black Sea, limiting exports and pushing up shipping costs from the region. However, good crop forecasts for both Ukraine and Europe capped price gains.
