Nigerian Oil Producers Meet Domestic Supply Targets in Q2 2026
Nigeria's oil producers have achieved significant compliance with domestic supply targets, according to recent data from the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission. In the second quarter of 2026, producers delivered 53.7 million barrels of crude oil and condensate to local refineries, meeting 97.4% of allocated volumes.
The NUPRC attributed the improved performance to increased domestic oil production and long-term supply agreements between producers and refineries. Dangote refinery represented the largest share of domestic demand, requiring 63 million barrels during the quarter.
