BMO Reaffirms Outperform on ERO Copper Amid Asset Progress
BMO Capital has reaffirmed its Outperform rating for ERO Copper () (NYSE:ERO), setting a price target of Cdn$52.00 following a visit to the company's operations after its investor day.
The analyst, Matthew Murphy, noted progress across the company's assets, including the Pilar underground mining operation, which has been progressively de-risked with the shaft advancing and the mill optimized.
Xavantina is ramping up mechanized operations and maximizing concentrate sales, while Furnas represents the next growth opportunity with Odin identified as another prospect.
BMO Capital highlighted that cost pressures remain a risk but volume improvement provides an offset. The company maintains a gross profit margin of 43% and a manageable debt-to-equity ratio of 0.47.
