Brazilian Corn Market Sees Little Price Change Amid Domestic Demand
The Brazilian corn market has seen little change in price over the past week, according to Conab's analysis. The domestic market showed no clear short-term trend, with isolated adjustments reflecting a balanced market and potential price stability.
Conab reported that domestic demand is driving consumption while supply holds back production, leading to releases as negotiations proceed. Exports, which have traditionally served as a channel for moving corn production, continue at a slower pace than expected, reducing pressure on prices and resulting in lower price variability.
In terms of crop progress, the first corn crop was 29.1 percent planted by September 25. The second corn crop was nearly fully harvested, with 99.5 percent complete by the same date.
