Brazilian Oil Exports Surge to Record Levels Amid Rising Global Demand

Brazil's oil exports have surged significantly in early September, reaching an impressive 5.25 million tons in just two weeks.

This represents a 75.6% increase in daily shipments compared to the same period last year, with an average of 656.2 thousand tons exported per working day.

The boost in exports is attributed to Brazil's record oil production, which hit a high mark for the second consecutive month in July.

The growth in exports also indicates that oil has become a significant contributor to Brazil's trade balance, with the country shipping 8.4 million tons of crude oil in August alone, worth approximately $4.83 billion.
