Brent Crude Drops Amid Renewed Diplomatic Hopes Between US and Iran

Brent crude fell to $101.71 per barrel as investors grew optimistic about renewed diplomatic engagement between the US and Iran.

The decline comes after a prolonged standoff that has disrupted energy markets and heightened military tensions in the Middle East.

A September 21 check showed WTI trading at $98.20 per barrel, down $2.10, while Brent fell by $2.12 to $101.75.

The drop reflects investor hopes for a possible resolution after Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei set conditions for negotiations, including the release of frozen funds and an end to the US naval blockade.
