Brent Crude Oil Price Surges Past $115 Per Barrel
The price of Brent crude oil has reached a record high, exceeding $115 per barrel for the first time since June 29, 2022. The price surge was observed on London's ICE exchange, where Brent crude oil for May 2026 is traded.
According to data from Modern.az, at 8:12 Baku time, the price of oil reached $115.33, representing a significant increase of 23.21% compared to previous levels.
However, by 8:16, the price acceleration accelerated further, with Brent crude oil reaching $117.16 per barrel for the first time since June 17, 2022, and an increase of 26.4%
As prices continued to fluctuate, a barrel of oil was sold for $118.73 at 8:20 Baku time, representing an increase of 28.09%.
