Brent Crude Oil Prices Reach Inflection Point Near $95
Brent crude oil prices are approaching a critical inflection point as they test key support near their 20-day moving average. A break below $95 a barrel could weaken the uptrend, while holding above this level may reopen the path to higher prices.
This support region is crucial for maintaining the bullish trend established in mid-July. If Brent loses support at $100 a barrel, it risks dropping back into the mid-$80s. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has fallen from overbought conditions of above 70 on September 10th to the mid-50s, indicating a more neutral area.
A break below the 20-day moving average would be a bearish signal, likely pushing oil prices back towards $85 a barrel. However, if support at this level holds, Brent could continue to trend higher and potentially move beyond the $110 a barrel region recently tested.
