Brent Crude Outlook Revised Up, European Gas Prices Projected to Rise

Fitch Ratings has revised its oil price forecast for Brent crude, increasing its outlook to $70 per barrel in 2027 from an earlier estimate of $65 per barrel. The rating agency has also raised its European gas price assumptions for 2026 and 2027.

The move comes despite Fitch previously trimming its oil price forecast for 2026, citing growing supplies. However, the increased demand for natural gas is driving up prices in Europe next year.
