Brent Crude Price Forecast: Expert Warns of Potential Fall Below $70
Crude oil prices have been volatile in recent times, and investors are eager to know what's next. Jonathan Barratt, CIO of ETO Group, shared his insights on the outlook for Brent crude in an exclusive interview with ET Now.
Barratt emphasized that the West Asia conflict is a significant factor affecting oil prices. He noted that OPEC+'s latest production increase has also had an impact, but it's unlikely to lead to a significant surge in supply anytime soon.
Regarding Brent crude, Barratt mentioned that it could potentially fall below $70 or even $60. However, he also pointed out that the Federal Reserve's policy is a crucial factor to consider, as inflation rates and interest rate decisions can greatly influence oil prices.
Barratt identified the biggest risks for global energy markets, citing geopolitical tensions, supply chain disruptions, and demand destruction due to economic slowdowns. He cautioned investors to be vigilant in monitoring these factors and adjust their strategies accordingly.
