Brent Crude Prices Drop Amid Ongoing Regional Tensions
Oil prices softened on Friday after a sharp rally in the previous session. Brent crude, the international oil benchmark, fell 0.92% to $105.60 a barrel as concerns about Middle East supply disruptions resurfaced.
The decline came after Thursday's rebound, which saw both Brent and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) benchmarks rise sharply. The pullback was also attributed to Saudi Arabia's restart of its East-West pipeline, easing worries about supply disruptions.
While oil prices have eased, the market remains sensitive to developments in the region. Traders are now watching indirect US-Iran discussions and evidence of recovering Saudi crude exports.
