Oil prices have risen for a second consecutive day, with Brent crude futures increasing by $1.03 to reach $106.91 per barrel as of 00:30 GMT.
The gains come despite signs that crude exports from the region are recovering, but lingering concerns over Middle East supply disruptions remain.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude has also gone up by $0.72 to trade at $93.32 per barrel.
