Brent Crude Tops $103 as Oil Prices Climb on Supply Concerns
Oil prices climbed on Monday, with Brent crude futures rising by 81 cents, or 0.79 percent, to reach $103.06 per barrel by 2202 GMT. This increase reflects ongoing concerns over potential disruptions to Middle East oil supplies.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also saw an increase, gaining 46 cents, or 0.50 percent, to settle at $91.57 per barrel. The upward trend in prices was primarily driven by fears of supply interruptions in the region.
