BSR Posts Record Profit in Q2 on Favorable Refining Cycles
Brunswick Resources (BSR) has reported record profits in Q2 due to favorable refining industry cycles. The company's net revenue reached nearly VND58,716 billion ($2.23 billion), up nearly 60% from the same period last year.
The main contributors to BSR's revenue were key petroleum products, including RON 95 gasoline and 0.05S diesel oil. The average Dated Brent crude oil price in Q2 stood at $104.52 per barrel, up $36.7 year-on-year.
BSR's balance sheet shows that the company is holding a substantial amount of bank deposits, with over VND47,116 billion ($1.79 billion) in term deposits as of June 30.
