Bulgargaz has submitted a proposal to increase the price of natural gas in September. According to their application, the proposed value is €41.31 per megawatt-hour (MWh), which represents a 4.77% hike compared to August's approved price of €39.43 per MWh.

The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) will now review the proposal and make a final decision, which will have significant implications for gas distribution companies and end-users in the country.

It is worth noting that the proposed price does not include various additional costs such as access fees, transmission charges, excise duty, and VAT.
