Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Gold Futures End Lower on Weaker COMEX Performance
Gold futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on August 26, mirroring weaker performance from COMEX gold futures in the US. The spot-month August contract settled at $4,618.0 per troy ounce, down from Monday's $4,638.50.
The September contract fell to $4,635.50 per troy ounce, while October and November contracts both decreased to $4,651.90 per troy ounce. December 2026 and February 2027 contracts shed to $4,659.70 per troy ounce.
Trading volume declined to 354 lots from 392 lots on Monday, with open interest weakening to 425 contracts from 457 previously.
