Canada is gearing up to showcase its investment potential to some of the world's largest institutional investors. At the upcoming Canada Investment Summit, Prime Minister Mark Carney will lay out a pitchbook featuring tens of billions of dollars' worth of projects across various sectors.
The document seen by Bloomberg News highlights 167 proposed initiatives in areas such as data centers, advanced manufacturing, liquefied natural gas (LNG), ports, and dozens of mines. Firms including BlackRock Inc. and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund are expected to attend the summit at Toronto's Four Seasons Hotel next week.
The projects listed in the pitchbook could potentially attract tens of billions of dollars' worth of investment from these major investors.
