Canadian Dollar and Crude Oil Prices End Week on Low Notes
The Canadian dollar had a disappointing week, ending on a low note as it closed at US$0.7070 or US$1=C$1.4145 on Friday.
This marks a loss of 0.72 U.S. cents for the currency during the week.
Meanwhile, the United States Dollar Index fell by 0.27 points to 101.02 on Friday.
Crude oil prices also declined as markets awaited updates on talks between the U.S. and Iran to end their conflict.
West Texas Intermediate dropped US$1.91 per barrel to US$92.70, while Brent crude oil fell by US$1.94/barrel to US$104.66.
