Canadian Grain Deliveries and Exports Surge in Week 4 of 2026-2027 Crop Year

The Canadian Grain Commission's Grain Statistics Weekly report for Week 4 of the 2026-2027 crop year shows a significant increase in grain deliveries, terminal receipts, and exports compared to the same week last year.

Producer deliveries reached 1.47 million tonnes, with wheat accounting for the largest share at 593.9 thousand tonnes, followed by canola at 276.8 thousand tonnes, peas at 234.4 thousand tonnes, and barley at 159.6 thousand tonnes.

Terminal receipts totaled 1.09 million tonnes, with Vancouver receiving 578.5 thousand tonnes during the week. Exports for the week were 583 thousand tonnes, down from 751.2 thousand tonnes in the prior week but above the 2.18 million tonnes recorded in the same week a year ago.

Crop year to date producer deliveries reached 4.46 million tonnes, up from 3.67 million tonnes at the same point last year. Crop year to date terminal receipts totaled 4.29 million tonnes, and exports reached 3.43 million tonnes.
