Canadian Pipeline Stocks Outpace Oil Producers Amid Easing Crude Prices

Canadian energy stocks are experiencing divergent trends, with pipeline operators seeing gains while major oil producers decline.

Pipeline names such as TC Energy Corp and Pembina Pipeline Corp are edging higher, with TC rising 0.48% to C$85.37 and Pembina gaining 0.61% to C$66.22.

This contrasts with declines in oil-focused producers like Canadian Natural Resources Ltd and Cenovus Energy Inc, which fell 1.16% to C$70.87 and 1.59% to C$46.48 respectively.

The divergence comes as oil prices ease from recent highs, with markets assessing developments around Middle East supply disruptions and the prospect of Saudi Arabia restoring a key pipeline route.
