Canola Reverses Course as US Wheat Prices Plummet
The ICE canola futures market experienced a reversal on Thursday, closing higher after a previous downturn. In contrast, the U.S. grain and oilseed market saw a sharp decline in wheat prices, which also pulled corn prices down. Meanwhile, soybean prices closed mixed.
Glen Hallick reported that the canola market had turned around from its previous lower close. The U.S. wheat market, however, saw a significant retreat, with corn and other grains being affected by the decline in wheat prices.
