Canola Surges as Grain Prices Open at Bunge's Moose Jaw Terminal
The prices of various grains and commodities opened on Friday, August 7, at Bunge's Moose Jaw Terminal. The main mover was canola, which saw a significant increase of 7.70 to $724.65.
Among other crops, Amber Durum rose to $272.48, while Feed Barley reached $203.59. Kabuli Chickpeas held steady at $573.20 and Flax remained unchanged at $630.54.
The price of 1 Red Spring Wheat also saw an uptick, rising by 2.86 to $287.46. The prices of other grains like Oats ($155.00), Large Yellow Peas ($283.11), Feed Wheat ($233.71), and Red Lentils ($516.50) remained stable.
