CBOT Soybeans Bounce Back from Losses
Soybean futures at the Chicago Board of Trade saw a rebound on Tuesday, correcting from Monday's losses. The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported that the soybean harvest was 17% complete in its latest weekly crop report, in line with the five-year average.
The USDA will release quarterly stocks data on Wednesday, with positioning ahead of the report influencing some market activity. Analysts expect slightly tighter soybean stocks as of September 1 compared to last year's 325 million bushels.
Corn futures traded near unchanged but ultimately turned lower along with wheat due to a lack of supportive news. The U.S. corn harvest was also 18% complete, matching the average for this time of year.
