CBT Sees Mixed Closing Prices on July 30
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBT) reported the closing prices for Thursday, July 30. Corn futures saw a decline in both September and December contracts, with September down 3 at $4.45 per bushel and December down 3 at $4.68.
Soybean futures also fell, with September down 4 at $11.71 and November down 4 at $11.88. In contrast, Wheat Futures saw an increase in both September and December contracts, with September up 2 at $6.63 and December up 3 at $6.81.
Live Cattle Futures rose for October and December contracts, with October up 347 at $227.45 and December up 337 at $226.70. Feeder Cattle Futures also saw a gain, with September up 395 at $342.60 and October up 452 at $334.15.
The Wanstead Farmers Co-operative reported prices for the 2026 Crop Corn, which was down 3 at $6.09 per bushel, while the 2027 Crop Corn saw a gain of 1 at $6.08. The 2026 Soft White Winter Wheat and 2027 Soft Red Winter Wheat both increased by 2 cents, but with different prices.
The Ontario Pork Reports revealed that the U-S CME price for dressed weight was up $0.06 from the previous day at $98.48 per hundredweight.
