Centrica has secured a two-decade-long deal for liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply from a Canadian project.

The British company will buy 1 million tonnes per annum of LNG on a free-on-board basis for 20 years from Ksi Lisims LNG, which is developing a proposed 12 mtpa floating export facility in British Columbia.

This deal adds to the resilience of Centrica's LNG portfolio and provides reliable supply for its customers during times of global energy market volatility.
