Cheniere Energy Inc., the largest liquefied natural gas exporter in the US, is set to report its second-quarter earnings on Thursday. Investors are eager to see if the company can bounce back from a massive loss in the first quarter.

The analyst consensus expects Cheniere to earn $2.98 per share on revenue of $4.93 billion for the quarter ended June, representing a sharp turnaround from the $16.65-per-share loss in the prior quarter. However, revenue is projected to decline sequentially from $5.87 billion and year-over-year earnings are expected to drop 59%.

Despite this, Wall Street remains bullish on Cheniere, with 23 analysts giving it a Strong Buy consensus rating and a mean price target of $304.45, implying an 18% upside from the current price of $257.29.
