Cheniere Energy Completes Corpus Christi LNG Expansion
Cheniere Energy Inc., has completed its Corpus Christi Liquefaction Stage 3 Project in Texas, making it the second-largest LNG facility in the U.S.
The project adds a seventh and final liquefied natural gas train to the existing terminal, increasing its total nominal capacity to 3.1 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) with peak capacity of 3.9 Bcf/d.
This expansion surpasses Sabine Pass in Louisiana as the second-largest LNG facility in the country, which has a nominal capacity of 3.6 Bcf/d and peak capacity of 4.6 Bcf/d.
