The price of gold in Chennai decreased by Rs 1,240 per sovereign on July 28, 2026. The new price is Rs 1,05,720 per sovereign and Rs 13,215 per gram.
This decrease comes after a previous price drop of Rs 155 per gram from the day before.
Meanwhile, silver prices also dropped by Rs 5 and are now selling at Rs 235 per gram or Rs 2,35,000 per kg.
