Chennai Gold Prices Fall by ₹10 Per Gram on September 26
Gold prices in Chennai dropped slightly on Saturday morning, September 26. The latest MJDTA rate update shows both 22K and 18K gold prices decreased by ₹10 per gram, while silver rates remained unchanged.
The current 22K gold rate is ₹14,000 per gram, down from the previous rate of ₹14,010 per gram. For 8 grams (1 sovereign), the value is ₹1,12,000, excluding GST and other applicable charges.
Similarly, the 18K gold price fell to ₹11,770 per gram, a decline of ₹10 compared to the previous rate of ₹11,780. This translates to ₹94,160 for 8 grams, before taxes or other costs.
